Inspiration, Composition, Design, Color , Value and Line

This cute, irresistible perfume bottle, all pretty in pink, was the perfect counterpoint for yesterday's manly scotch bottle. The combination of its roundness and its distinct facets was delightful to paint. It was also the perfect choice for a small 10" x 8" canvas. The difficult part was using only the palette knife to paint it.  

I have decided to work on smaller canvases for the rest of this project, 9" x 12" probably being the largest size I will be using but  I had forgotten how much more difficult it is to use a palette knife on a small surface. I hope it will work out for me.
